RE: Repeal CAIN Treaty - Volaworand - 11-21-2017

If a vote is required, I support the Cabinet's action to dissolve

I would support a symbolic vote Tounge

a bit of a *throws hat in air in celebration* moment

RE: Repeal CAIN Treaty - Farengeto - 11-22-2017

I'm with Glen and Bel here.

A repeal vote doesn't even make sense here, we'd be voting to repeal something that no longer exists. Whether it passes or fails the treaty is still gone, making the vote redundant at best and anti-democratic at worst.

The law is pretty clear here, the treaty has been dissolved so Treaties Act says it's automatically repealed on our end too. No need to hold pointless votes that don't make sense.
