Ryccia, for once just get it. You have to stop roleplaying like being the biggest, baddest, most dominant nation in the South Pacific is something attainable. You will not have territorial dominance, you will not have economic dominance, and you certainly don't need to have a gigantic population, as if that somehow enhance your nation.
Take a look at the more influential nations in the region. Do they have ridiculously large populations or territories? Do they behave like empires trying to be the biggest of them all?

Our South Pacific isn't the only Pacific on Pacifica Ryccia, we're in the Southern hemisphere because we're, y'know, the South Pacific. ;p
