THE Security "Threat" Thread - ProfessorHenn - 04-15-2015

So, this should be the thread which all future VDs and Cit App Processors should use to talk about possible security threats.

With that, how about Dali and Neenee?

RE: THE Security "Threat" Thread - Tsunamy - 04-15-2015

God -- what do we think here?

(Keep in mind, within a couple of days, GR will be here and argue completely against them. Threads are already going on in the CSS area.)

I will reiterate that I don't think Dali should be flagged as a security threat. The only reason he *doesn't* have citizenship is because it lapsed. (And, he only signed up here because I invited him.)

I have less of a feeling regarding Neenee.

I wouldn't mind approving either of them.

I mentioned it in the CSS thread as well, but I am not quick to trust anyone who has had a history of messing with regions. See Milograd for a perfect recent example. Doesn't really matter how friendly said person seems to be, as I know a lot of people thought Milograd had reformed.

I know we are a friendly and welcoming region, and a lot of these people should still be able to join the forums, but I still think when it comes to citizenship, we should be a bit more cautious who we accept. I know at least a few of you disagree.

RE: THE Security "Threat" Thread - Feirmont - 04-15-2015

I have to agree with Aram.
If they have a history of messing with regions, and they've already had their citizenship denied, then why should it change?

Honestly, they could be great people. But there are many people that have clearly voiced and gave arguments to why they shouldn't gain citizenship.

In my opinion, why persue citizenship? All it gives you is voting rights in the Assembly and in Elections. You don't need it for the Fellowship Programme, you don't need it to RP and you don't need it for generally enjoying the community.

I may not have much a say when it comes to citizenship, but these are my opinions. I am weary of allowing either citizenship.

So, we deny it? I should have just made this a vote.

It seems to be to be a vote of two (Aram and Feir) to one (Henn).

I'll abstain and we'll chalk Pen up to an abstention, too.

So, yes. No to "The Empire" peeps on the grounds that they've recently been rejected.
