3 out of the 6 men that have taken several Assembly legislators hostage have been taken down as the remaining three are still in the Assembly building. The Special Forces started to infiltrate the building, and as they entered, they heard 6 gunshots, and assume that a hostage has been shot.

Empress Hestia Drakar and Grand Minister Octavian Viranius have expressed their condolences to Adaro Okhrensa-Maralto in the aftermath of former Ura'sia Yena's passing. "While I had only known her for less than a year," the grief-stricken Empress said, "I am forever honored, no... blessed, to have known Yena as a leader and as a dear friend. I... I miss her..." The Empress soon left both the Imperial Palace and the capital afterwards to attend her friend's memorial service.

First Gentleman Davis' military plane has returned to Alton International Airport after it's second journey delivering ammunition to Erinor. Shortly afterwards, the First Gentleman signed the book of Condolence for former Ura'sia Yena Yamera-Hyudo. He has led a third day today paying tribute to President Davis.
Two girls fell off the roof of a pub in Alton City today. Their father was arrested for dangerous behaviour but was found innocent in the case of his daughters, however, he was found to have killed a man who died earlier in the year who was previously thought to have injured himself while escaping a fire in a separate pub back in September.

Prime Minister Barrett has, today, appointed Kathleen Caldwell as Minister of Fine Arts in her Administration. She has also announced her intentions for 2018. She has split 2018 up into three terms. The first term is 1 January 2018 until 30 April 2018.
The second term is 1 May 2018 until 31 August 2018 and the final term is 1 September 2018 until 31 December 2018. Her intentions for the first term are to assess and work on civil and political rights, feminism, gay rights, abortion rights, gender roles and drug policy reforms. Her intentions for the second term are to asses and work on status and power. Her intentions for the third and final term are to assess and work on aesthetics, ethics, ontology, epistemology, theoretical psychology, philosophy of science, political philosophy and philosophy of history.

Ura'sio Erinead Jruniro Lama-Cyerwaro has today announced that the former Ura'sia will be granted a full state funeral on the 31st December in honour of her accomplishments bringing Erinor back onto the international stage and that international leaders are invited to attend this and the Ciria earthquake memorial to be held on the 1st January. The last time a state funeral was held was 1992 for Marcoro khisempuntereo, Marcoro asa'si Arkhando cireo III, one of the generals who helped depose Syarkho cadeo.
