Receiving fire from almost all sides, the Bzerneleg Department of State issued this relatively pacifist statement:

"We believe that Reizeners have earned their right to self-determination, and that is not happening unless the Reizen Civil War comes to an end, which it will not anytime soon. Therefore, we have come to a conclusion, that for the time being, Bzerneleg will seek to defend natives living in Zett Island and encourage the establishment of a provisional government, led by the RDC."

Valkyrian Foreign Secretary Bradley Murphy issued a statement saying that Bzerneleg's actions on Zett Island were "unfortunate". Opposition leader Avianna Aldridge criticised Murphy's statement as being "weak" since the RDC is designated as a terrorist organisation by Valkyria.

"We already have established a path to peace through the Grovne Ceasefire, it ensures a democratic referendum on the future of Reizen and its people. Any 'special solutions' outside the agreements put the unity of the factions at risk and may derail the whole process" noted the Sedunnic Foreign Minister.

A massive fish kill in the Quintinia River to the north of the city of Mela Leuca, in Northern Beepee, has caused concern about water quality and drinking water for local residents.

Beepee's chief science officer Wanda Gno is sending a team to investigate the fish kill and determine the overall health of the river.
