Queen Astrid today returned to izaakia from 182. She is believed to be furious about the fact Prime minister LeRogue formed a Joint Stock Company with the intention of invading and colonising 182 as a corporate entity, using Izaakian state wealth and resources to resource this venture.

Queen Astrid will be addressing both Houses of Parliament in the morning about the on going crisis.

A formal constitution has now been signed into law by Puani Kokostali, reinstating the bicameral parliament and legally defining the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the FiHami government, in a style exactly implemented by the late Ha'Coron' Finix Fi'Shi at the beginning of FiHami's establishment, though including a few amendments, making constitutional amendments much more difficult to do, requiring an 80% approval in both chambers of Parliament and 60% approval with voters.  The constitution also resigns much of the previously-unlimited power of the Chief of FiHami to mostly ceremonial power, though the constitution also has a provision where the Chief can assume unlimited power during "Parliamentary-declared times of Crisis".

In an address to both Houses of Parliament today Empress Astrid expressed her outrage at the governments miss-use of State resources with the invasion of 182, and the inability of the opposition to hold the government to account. Due to these failings Empress Astrid announced the suspension of parliament.

Gianlucian King and Leader Gianluca IV has congratulated FiHami for introducing a proper constitution. The situation in Izaakia was not commented. Asked about the allegations made by the human rights organisations, he expressed the government is in difficult talks about that situation: "We know swift action is needed, but we have two opposing standpoints in the government, which can't be put together in a compromise. I expect us to have a solution and send some kind of aid on Sunday the latest."

Upon being asked about the situation in Izaakia at a Presidential Office press conference today, President Lindon's press secretary Allison Maccraig read the following statement on behalf of President Lindon: "While the President holds the highest regard for democracy around the world, he supports Empress Astrid's decision to dissolve parliament, which was well within her rights as Empress and was necessary action to stop illegal imperialism and corporate colonization by parliament. The President will work with Empress Astrid and Izaakia to find a democratic and peaceful solution to the ongoing crisis."

Currently in Landland, Minister-President Raymond Doumergue is assessing the extend of the help needed.

"One of the biggest challenge so far is to work without power. Their largest power station was destroyed completely and is still submerged. That is going to take time to repair and I think some help toward brining back power in Landland is our priority. It is our first challenge and it needs to be resolved quickly. I'll be heading back to Mauquibie tomorrow to evaluate with the Council of Government the actions my country can do to help the population here in Landland."

Chancellor Kirchmann has announced GI-Land will offer three military plane-loads of help to Landland and 300 men from the army that should help building up the most important infrastructure again on the one hand and help deal with the injured on the other.
However he stressed, that he "expect[s] a World Forum solution next time. We don't need this organisation, if its members just decide to follow an egocentric path instead of looking for a joint effort by the entire organisation."
