A military plane overshot the runway during its landing in Comto-Marcello—Concordia National Airport and has crashed at the end of the runway, no injuries are reported but all landings are diverted to the nearest airport, Princia-Geneva—Brantavilla International Airport. All flight departures from the airport are cancelled until further notice. The incident is being investigated by the Anserisan Armed Forces.

Izaakian parliament today prohibited smoking in all forms, and banned all manufacturing and trade in the smoking related substances. Health campaigners have welcomed this change as a Great Leap Forward in protecting the health of the nation. However libertarian factions of the government have condemned the law as oppressive and accused the government of crossing the line into the private lives of izaakian citizens.

From December 1st, aluminium cans and plastic bottles will be priced with a $T0.25 surcharge which can be redeemed to your debit or credit card at an approved recycling point. The government of Anserisa has come to an agreement with the United Atlantic for a land lease to build a military base, the first foreign base of Anserisa's soil. This early warning radar/ABM site is build as a response to the heightened tensions around the continent of Cordilia threatening the international shipping routes of the United Atlantic and of Anserisa. The base will see the construction of infrastructures in the vicinity of Gubernata and Vivama and will help the development of the northern part of Branta Island which had been heavily impacted by the, now resolved, blockade imposed by the Frost Empire until September.

The Frost Empire noted the Anserisan military land lease with the United Atlantic with mild concern, citing the United Atlantic as an unknown variable. However, Frost Diplomats in Grovne and former Blockade negotiators have spoken highly of their Anserisan counterparts ameliorating concerns pushed by more nationalistic elements of the Frost government.

Governor Linne Atlasia, Head of Government of the Peonic Overseas Territory of ZhangHai. Gave her remarks that Zhang Hai will not be fully switching to Bailt and would continue to use ZhangHai Tael and Peonic Tiol.

Bailt is a currency envisioned by the Bailtem Union and a proposal was passed to switch to Bailt. The Foreign Affairs office has discussed the possibility of creating a separate foreign affairs body to represent ZhangHai in the Bailtem Union. As of now, foreign relations of Peonic Overseas Territories are handled directly by the mainland.

The Government has been informed there is no further threat to the country from GID-20 and advisied to relax all restrictions and return to normal societal interactions and re-open the country. In light of this, all restrictions are lifted from midnight tonight and the country reopens fully tomorrow morning.
