Izaakian parliament grants themselves immunity.

Today izaakian parliament voted 320-292 in favour of granting MPs legal immunity for the duration of their tenure as elected officials. The law passed also grants lifetime immunity for all prime ministers following their term. The move is believed to be a response to the Dickie Biggins fiasco.
The change in the law also overturns the suspended sentence of former Prime Minister Ernest Le Rogue, who is believed to still be in a coma following the tragic events at the LMCC Christmas party.

President Ortega has announced funding for furniture manufacturers to begin to produce more nursery furniture. He also read and approved a report today that studied how the tiniest events in our lives can make us who we are. 

Speaker of the Lower Chamber, Dr. Johnathon Wallace has said that it's always strange when the Prime Minister appoints a LC as a Vice-Prime Minister because they're not elected to the Chamber and you know should the Prime Minister abdicate, they can't take over because they're not MPs, however, he said it's good she now has a new face as well as an old one to advise her in her decisions. Dr. Speaker Wallace also said he thinks former Prime Minister Murphy is responsible for creating the mess we're in today. Speaking about the late former Prime Minister, he said, 'He showed no self-control at all and that may have given our nation the wrong message about how to run a country.'

The Department for Electoral Affairs has granted the freedom of information request for the identity of the $15 million donor to the Better Together campaign. The donor has been identified as former prime minster Ernest Le Rogue, widely believed to be in a coma this has raised questions as to his true state of health.

There may now be a majority in the Sedunnic parliament in favour of dropping the regnal number that is placed after the name of the king or queen, like Vimmru II. It is also currently debated whether to switch to calling Sedunn a republic instead of kingdom in the Austral language, but it is unclear if there is a majority in favour.

Prime minister Valkyrie Mountbatten suspends the referendum on La Montagne and Brödmark.

The Sedunnic minister of foreign affairs criticised Mountbatten's decision to suspend the referendum and announced that the previous sanctions against Izaakia will be imposed again and broadened.

The Ryccian Federation has announced an embargo on all Izaakian assets and has introduced sanctions. Further, it shall fund any "freedom fighters" in Brödmark and La Montagne. All Izaakian vessels and aircraft are also banned from Ryccian territory and its EEZ areas.

Regarding Izaakia's suspension of the referendum, Phanama is remaining neutral.

Two federal referendums are scheduled to take place in Phanama this year. Voters will be asked whether Phanama should ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and if an amendment to the Forest Protection Act should be revoked. Voting will be held on the 17th of April and the 3rd of July, respectively.

The King and Leader Gianluca IV has condemned Izaakia's suspension of the referendums.
"We will take stronger measures against the Izaakian state, if the referendums won't take place like planned", he said in a statement to the press tonight.
