President Thomas Anderson of the Commonwealth of Alterra affirmed the Alterra-Izaakia alliance at a foreign policy domestic summit in Astria, where he asserted that the Alterran Government will 'stand by the Izaakians' in the case of a 'dastardly and unprovoked attack' by Somurias. In light of recent events Alterra's air defense shield has been once more placed on high alert, and the Fourth and Fifth Armies have been placed on Yellow Alert, placing them at a 24-hour combat readiness level, meaning it will now only take them 24 hours to fully mobilize and deploy.

Minister of Defense Recke has called for Somurias to cancel the plans to involve themselves in the conflict: "It is not your task to bring peace to NAGB. We have the World Forum and if peacekeeping forces are wanted, they will be deployed.
