The CE has announced that it will conduct permanent joint air policing in Transsunerian airspace. The nation lacks an air force of its own, and there will be a continuous presence of allied fighter aircraft, a responsibility that will rotated between members at even intervals.

Izaakia has hosted a snap election after significant tax increase by President Blancs Liberal Party broke manifesto promises and caused significant defections. 

In the election President Blancs Liberal party retained a majority, however, it was significantly reduced from the 374 seat majority she gained 2 years ago to a majority of 50. 
The Conservative, Green and Labour parties made moderate gains in the election. However, the new leader of the opposition is former Liberal and Conservative Minister Charles Boulangerie, after his newly founded Framboise Madeleine Party gained 182 seats making it the second largest party in parliament, which has been seen as a significant protest to the standard of governance from the Liberal and Conservative parties. 

Conservative Leader Bjorn Ragnarson described the election as a significant step forward after the collapse of conservative support with the leaderships of Ernest Le Rogue and Valkyrie Mountbatten. 

Charles Boulangerie leader of the Framboise Madeleine Oarty described the election as the first step in a revolution of Izaakian politics.

President Blanc remained buoyant claiming a significant mandate to rule and although a reduced majority still strong support for her program of reform.

In her first official statement since retaining the role of Montwælda President, Dr Stella Blanc accused Ryccia of “A systematic and prolonged attempt to use means of cyber warfare to disrupt our election and our democracy, by disrupting our finances, our stores, our healthcare, our social media and our security services to provoke unrest and instability.”
She further described the attacks as “an unacceptable and unprecedented act of aggression, and an act which The United States of Izaakia can not abide. This is nothing short of an undeclared war, a war which for the sake of democracy, the United States of Izaakia and the region, we cannot afford to lose. Therefore, the first promise I make after receiving the confidence of the nation for a second time is this. There will not be a Ryccian junta to interfere in our next election.
We will use all means necessary to isolate, destabilise and remove the junta from power. We will apply pressure in cyber warfare, we will apply diplomatic pressure across the region, we will apply economic pressure across the region, we will apply physical pressure to pin The Ryccian junta in its den. No opposition to the junta will go without Izaakian support, no nation will support Ryccia without consequences and no compromise will be accepted. 
We will prevail against the Ryccian Junta either by direct means or indirect means, and we will not compromise until alternative governance is found, and our democracy and stability is preserved. 
Make no mistake my fellow Izaakians, we are in a state of war, a war that we cannot afford to lose, Gods Bless us All.”

News news: Still no substantial information regarding the conflicts happening in [locations disclosed] caves. We have been informed that the dispatched V.A.F. forces include:
Two pilots operating Helicopter Mockingbird (All-weather, heavy attack, transport); 10 foot soldiers and 15 privates with small arms as well as mountaineering equipment; 20 corporals, 15 which are specialized in Telecommunications Security and 5 who are specialized in general Recon-Information Gathering; 2 GCDP engineers from the Navy who are to keep the Mockingbird operational; and finally 5 GCDP military physicians carrying enough medical equipment for the operation.
This "Platoon" is still being lead by Sergeant Iskenpal Barletty who has only provided the information that the forces have successfully been dispatched in [locations disclosed]

Ikaranarean officials have expressed major concerns over the inflammatory speech of President Blanc. Garovo Alertz made a statement today, stating that "Ikaranarean territory will not be used as a battleground for a war of aggression on Izaakston's behalf."

Chancellor Ifukube of the Termina Commerce Confederacy allegedly quashed draft statements from Kaiji valley and Vexen Village regarding Blanc’s inflammatory speech. The Chancellor instead appears to have agreed with Point Rain and Higurashi leaders in not releasing a statement until the TCC understands the extent to which The USI intends to confront the Ryccian Junta.

Grigore Musanu, the driver of the 50021 "The Duck" locomotive, has been given official permission to add a seperate horn to the train that sounds like a duck. 50021 is currently in service for regular maintenance and the fitting of the new duck horn, mounted on a seperate circuit, with it's own switch.
(Note, this is for Terelia, not Earamia. I have yet to claim Terelia)
