Old Atlantic Alliance Battle Flag

Tonight the region of Atlantic was captured by South Pacific Special Forces. Participating in the direct attack was Arbiter08, CrimsonTideFan, and myself. Resentine showed up after the fact for support and Farengeto sat in a corner and mostly just sulked. Tounge

Also partaking in the mission was Eluvatar, who showed up with an RRA troop to defend the region, but then remembered he's still a citizen of The South Pacific and quickly left. With the capture of Atlantic, the SPSF now control two regions at once, as we still have control of Warzone Sandbox.

On an interesting note, Atlantic was the home of the old Atlantic Alliance/ Atlantic Central Command raider alliance that dates back to 2003-2004. In addition to being the group that inspired the founding of the the Alliance Defense Network, the AA/ACC also founded several feeder regions during the time before they were officially declared Feeders (at that time there was only one feeder region, The Pacific). This list includes TEP, TWP, and indeed, TSP. I do believe LadyRebels was once part of the Atlantic Alliance herself.

So, with this capture, we've come full circle and taken the very region that first founded The South Pacific.

This post is factually incorrect - TEP was created by ACC prior to its creation, but TWP and TSP were not - the latter were invasions and occupations.

I don't think it's the place of a basic mission statement to troll Eluvatar - he was defending a region that you and our glorified goons were invading - he's under no legal obligation to cease and desist helping out a region just because we decided to be obnoxious and invade some region - that's our fault, not his.

So...I shouldn't state that he was briefly in the region and should instead omit that fact because it offends you?

While I do congratulate the Special Forces for its victory, I am not sure how this part of the statement is relevant or even necessary. Is this a professional statement or an attempt at shaming people?

Research by the South Pacific Historical Project indicates that the South Pacific was created on 1 January 2003 as a Feeder, not as a UCR-turned-Feeder. That said, there was indeed strong ACC influence in the early days, which ended once LadyRebels refused to recruit in TSP and renounced her membership.

It's a joke.
