Stockholm (KTN) — The governing Alliance of Social Democrats passed a resolution in the National Assembly condemning the Ryccian naval blockade and calling it a "grave violation of the Frost Empire's sovereignty". At Executive Valkyria, Chancellor Margaret Harrison again repeated her call for restraint from all parties involved in the Reizen Civil War and the broader international crisis.

Stockholm (KTN) — In response to articles posted by The Macais Journal and The Stockholm Post that allege Valkyrian military and police weapons are being smuggled and in the possession of revolutionary communists in Reizen and cultists in the Silesian province of Valkyria, Valkyrian Chancellor Margaret Harrison has ordered the Intelligence Directorate-General (IDG) to conduct an audit of the arms manufacturing companies. In a public statement from Executive Valkyria, the chancellor said, "The weapons that are alleged by the news media to be in possession of revolutionaries and cultists are only supposed to be in the hands of the Valkyrian Defence Forces and National Police."

Harrison has ordered the National Police and the IDG to cooperate in a joint investigation and said that it "is a matter of national security". The chancellor fears now that unauthorised third-parties are in possession of Valkyrian military and police weapons, foreign arms manufacturers will now be able to replicate the design of these weapons and "malicious states" will be able to modify their current weapons to match or be superior to Valkyrian weapons. With these weapons now in the hands of unauthorised third-parties, this event may be the biggest leak of state secrets since Operation Affirmed in 2015, considering that all arms manufacturing companies in Valkyria are state-owned enterprises.

Stockholm (KTN) — On Thursday, a chemical attack occurred inside a nightclub in Stockholm, killing at least 176 people in what is the deadliest peacetime attack in the history of Valkyria. In total, 42 units from the National Police were dispatched to the scene of the attack, but were ill-equipped to handle this type of attack, thus requiring the mobilisation of the National Gendarmerie, which had a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) unit at its disposal. At Executive Valkyria, Chancellor Margaret Harrison stated that the National Police and National Gendarmerie were "cooperating in the response and investigation of the attack" and expressed her shock that such an attack would happen. Furthermore, the chancellor promised that the perpetrators would be "brought to justice for this crime against humanity".

So far, no individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
