Repeal CAIN Treaty - Roavin - 11-09-2017

Dear fellow Legislators,

in response to the long-running discussion here, the MoFA Team has determined that a repeal of the CAIN treaty is appropriate. This has been unanimously approved by the Cabinet.

This thread shall serve as notice to the assembly to dissolve the treaty as per Treaties Act 2.3. After 5 days of discussion, this will go to a vote.

Have the proper parties been notified about the cabinet's recommendation?

I fully support this, although the lack of a Ruining Nazi Sandcastles operation in the past few months has been rather disturbing. Glares at @Roavin

That will be done once (and if) the assembly vote passes.

RNS has been incredibly successful in the first half of 2017 and there currently isn't much left that can be attacked as a consequence. However, SPSF just did a fash-bashing operation with the North Pacific Army yesterday.

Our commitment to not give regions of hate a chance began well before we became a CAIN signatory and will remain regardless of whether or not we are a part of CAIN.

Two weeks, and all my work comes undone. Tounge

I'm not seeing the political or military value in CAIN anymore. Let's get rid of it.

I am all for it, it sounded good on (virtual) paper, but it hasn't boosted the standing of our region, merely the host. Sad
