The Cross Pacific Space Cooperation (CPSC) is an intergovernmental organisation that coordinates and promotes space research and technology. The purpose is to achieve together what the member states would not be able to do on their own. The CPSC was founded after the Great War when Ryccia and Sedunn decided to continue their joint rocket development program, but in a purely civilian form. In 1957 the other democracies on the continents around the South Pacific Ocean were invited to join.

The headquarters are located in Goends, Sedunn. The main rocket launch site is located in Juno, Ryccia, due to its proximity to the equator, and a back-up launch site is located in Hazelbrust near its eastern border (used extensively during the Ryccian Civil Wars). A smaller, secondary launch site is located outside Sraved, Vastraenn, Sedunn.

OOC: If you have a democratic nation, feel free to join. You can join at any year you want, from 1957 until now. Research centres and observatories etc need a home!

Please state the name of your nation(s) and the year(s) they joined.

This thread is OOC.

Harmakmis joined in 2005, after the 3rd Harmak-Gordist War. The nation is quite technologically adept, having developed rocket technology since 1958 (for science)

Gordista joined in 2018 after the creation of the Dual Republic. They also developed rocket technology since 1959, but are not as technologically advanced (for war).

They now operate as one unit in space research (Harm-Gord Aerospace Agency; HGAA). A large space port is in the north of Gordista, on a plateau, with a large research center in Harmakmis city. Various observatories dot the mountain and countrysides.

Great Novania joined in 1962. Although being an absolutist monarchy, the Nation does have a constitution and a democratic society, which allowed the Novanians to join the CPSC.

The member list has been updated.

Would there be any interest in establishing a timeline for CPSC missions (inspired by this). Oh, and we probably need to finish this discussion Tounge

RE: Cross Pacific Space Cooperation - GI-Land - 01-03-2020

GI-Land joined in 1998 after the enthronement of King Axel I. and has made quite large financial contributions since then and participated in several missions (if possible).
Snolland joined in 1967 and let the CPSS built a back-up launch site in Hazelbrust near the border to Costa Estre (the country bordering directly to the east of Hazelbrust)!
