I think we should at least have a separate army discord server.

I'd like to counter the requests to preserve the Court channel and suggest that it should absolutely be merged into the #government-discussion channel as originally planned. We simply do not need a channel for Indiana pictures, any more than we need a channel for my pictures of my cat, or seventeen channels for Zess's pictures of their seventeen cats. The only matter actually related to the court that's posted in the Court channel is the occasional link to a pending case or a rare discussion of a verdict or judicial philosophy. Those are all few and far between enough that there's absolutely space for them in #government-discussion.

I’d like to counter that with a question of why every other department gets separate discord sections? Y’all wanted unify discord server y’all decided on the unified discord server. Y’all can respect and appreciate the fact that the court deserves a separate channel because when used properly it is effective. If we are going to respect and treat the Court as the entity it is it deserves it’s own channel in the government section.

I have no clear preference for either outcome, but it does make sense for there to be a seperate court chat area. There exists an assembly chat area, and an executive chat area, the court should also be entitled to its own chat area as a co-equal branch of government. Of course, as I said above, it isn’t the end of the world if the court doesn’t get its own area, but I don’t think it would hurt to have one more channel.

Whilst I can't comment on the need for a channel for actual court business, #drama-llama-palooza is absolutely the channel in which we share pet and culinary pictures, almost other things. As much as I enjoy Indiana pictures, I don't see a reason why they cannot be posted there.

The High Court of The South Pacific should not be lumped into a blanket government channel any more than it should be lumped into a government subforum on these forums. It is a separate body, just like the Legislature and Cabinet. Offering the Cabinet and Legislature their own subforums here and channels on discord without offering the same to the High Court is illogical.

After talking to the OWL secretary - the OWL server has public channels for discussion and drafts. As we move that over, the idea here would be a #world-assembly (or such) channel in the Citizen's Court. How do we feel about that?

That would be lovely.
