In recognition of how long he has left in Parliament as Speaker, Dr. Speaker Wallace has decided to call a new Deputy Speaker election to elect a second Deputy Speaker to assist him up to the October 2022 snap General Election. Mable Rivera, Inez Greene, Wesley Bailey, Shelley Gray and Myron Moss have declared their candidacies. The election takes place in the Lower Chamber on Friday, 29 October 2021. Results will be announced on Sunday, 31 October 2021 in the evening.

The Minister of Defence has no interest in war with Nicholas and Great Britain, however, under the advice of the Besernian Strategic Command, the Minister of Defence has issued a mobilization order to all Besernian forces to be ready for a defensive position against a potential war overspill and to assist a potential upcoming refugee crisis with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health.
