After giving a speech accusing the military of threatening lawmakers, MP Annabelle Nardunsen was assassinated in front of the Palace of Laws, where both chambers of the Ryccian legislature meet. A Socialist Senator who was speaking with her, Isabelle Sonbury, was also killed. The Ryccian military has refused to comment, closing off its headquarters from the press.

The Sænat ratified the WF Resolution today, by a sweeping majority of 82,9% as 355 out of 428 Sænators voted aye. The 73 Nay voters are members of the technocratic faction, calling the resolution "a dangerous act, giving the World Forum too much power. We will fight to unratify this. The Stoinian Defence Minister, Gen. Valeriu Codreanu has held a surprise press conference concerning the situation in Spiras. While the Foreign Minister, Tiberiu Mocanu, has pointed out the dangers of the Forst Empire's precedent, he has revealed his Ministry has been in contact with the government of the United Kingdom of Emerald-Denver and the government-in-exile. A request of intervention has been approved by both governments. Gen. Codreanu stated: "Stoinia has waited long enough for the World Forum to act upon the spreading crisis of Denvarian Nationalists. Times have changed and we no longer bicker against the political beliefs of our cousins.
