Prime Minister William Altrecht has addressed the nation, telling a very different story than what is known. He has claimed that the military merely invited him for "days of deep and in-depth discussions" regarding the country's future and political system and that "traitors" are spreading "false rumours that must be quashed". He has formally endorsed the SAC, but experts have noted that his body language and nervous tone clearly indicated he was under duress. Bruises could be seen on his face despite appearing with deep makeup, likely a result of torture.
