Message to the nations of Southern Cooperation Organization
It has come to our attention the SCO(not in its entirety) is trying to pressure us and overthrow our government. Well, this might seem threatening, but we'll say it. If any nation tries to overthrow our government by invading, sabotaging or even isolate us entirely, we will defend ourselves. Our nuclear arsenal is ready to fire at any moment. Our armies are ready to fight. Our DEFCON has been raised to Critical. We are patrolling our lands, and we will not allow any invasions in our lands. We repeat, we will defend ourselves in any way we can. We have also frozen the assets of any Kringalian or Farengetoan national residing in our territories. If these acts continue, we will arrest them and send them back. All nations that declare sanctions against us will have their embassies closed as well. Use of a weapon (LX-537 Ultra Sound Bomb) designed to cause hearing pain and disorientation against communist militias: Oh, yes, rebel groups are supposed to be protected with the same rights as innocent civilians(sarcasm). If that was true, then why won't we let them kill us all to "defend their rights to life", huh? No! When a person infringes on another's rights, then we have the right to violate their rights! Testing of the LX-537 Ultra Sound Bomb on 20 civilian subjects who allegedly volunteers in exchange for a compensation of $30 000: That one, we are very sorry. We should not have done that(Darn it! We wasted ~1 million dollars for nothing!). Employment of private armed militias, namely Team Razor, Team People's Defense and Team Blackshock, as bounty hunters to apprehend guerrilla leaders and other political opponents, without respect to due process or basic human rights before and during arrest. It is particularly noteworthy the use of these militias to capture Michael Zaragoza, the leader of a guerrilla group known as the Socialist Knights: Ahem, we offered reward money for the sighting, confidential handing of the target's schedule or confidential handing of a strategy to arrest the target. But these teams just keep coming! They bring the criminals, and what are we supposed to do? Arrest them? We don't think so. If we don't pay them for capturing terrorists, they'll shoot the policemen on the station! Use of cruel and unusual punishments, in clear contravention of common decency and human rights, with convicted criminals, namely the different methods in which the death penalty is implemented. These include leaving the person to starve to death and leaving them inside a meat locker until death. We have not been able to estimate how many times each penalty has been imposed, though the number is reported to be at least of a moderate quantity: These laws are in place for almost a milenia! That's why we are holding reunions to eliminate this. Plus, the death penalty is reserved for certain cases of war crimes and terrorism. Use of extreme deadly force against protesters in the Province of Nueva España and unrestricted use of military weaponry against the same protesters, in violation of their rights to free speech and assembly, as well as their rights to due process. It is so far impossible to assess and calculate the number of protesters that have been repressed under this regime: Ah, its all fun and games(and by fun and games, I mean our riot police resisting objects thrown at them), until they(the protesters) start shooting at the officers with guns, and rarely with homemade bombs and grenades. Of course we need military weaponry! They started attacking first! If you will threaten to overthrow our government, we will do anything in our power to defend ourselves in any way.

Official Message
The Darkstraitese government condemns the Ryccian noncompliance and begs that Ryccia stand down. We do not want to have to take sides in an SCO-Ryccia conflict, especially since such an action would pull in the remainder of the SSU and begin another massive war. We don't want to have to do this.

In light of these events Farengeto has passed the Emergency Nuclear Response Act; implementing full sanctions against Ryccia freezing all Ryccian assets and barring all Ryccian travel and business within Farengeto.
Farengeto may not be nuclear-armed or a superpower but we shall not bow to intimidation, nor do we stand helpless against your invasion. If we shall become a scapegoat against your crimes and aggression then so be it, but we will not surrender. (OOC: And of course if you come at me I shall enforce every ounce of science and military strategy I can. :ninja: )
The Legislature of Sporaltryus and Aquica herein declare a state of emergency against Ryccia, and will begin to mobilize forces to contain Ryccia. Our nuclear weapons are being brought to full readiness, and our defense systems are at their highest capacity to defend Sporaltryus and Aquica, and surrounding countries. Sporaltryus does not take threats lightly, regardless of who the target was.
