For Bruuma, I made a proportion based on land area comparison with the figures of North Korea, which is the most close RL version. I the made some adjustment due to the differences (ex. the ratio of helicopters and airplanes or the boat types). The Red Jujus has been calculated with the same method in comparison with the personal guard of Saddam Hussein.
I must have used a similar method for Puerto Pollo, but I don't really remember the RL equivalent.

Military of Bruuma
The Voodoo People’s Republic of Bruuma is officially a single-party military socialist voodoo republic "on a state of perpetual defensive war". Defense is competence of the Ministry of Defense and is the biggest expense of the government budget, accounting around 20% of the GDP. 

Papa Unclepear is the Supreme Commander of the BPDF and all of its branches: the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. He is also the Reddest Juju of the Red Jujus and the Grand War Bokor of the War Division of the Unclepearan Marxist Voodoo Bokors’ Council.

The Popular Serpent Militia, 62,600 people, the paramilitary police force of the country, depends on the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, while the State Security Ge-Rouge, 21,750 people, the secret police agency, depends on the Ministry for State Security.

The Bruuman People’s Defense Forces  
The Bruuman People’s Defense Forces (BPDF) were formed in 1956 from the Bruuma Voodoo People's Liberation Front (BVPLF) guerrilla who fought against the English colonists during the Bruuman Independence War.

The total BPDF personnel is 487,000 people (4.2% of the 11.6 million population). Trained reservists are 243.500.

The Bruuman People's Army
The Army includes 413,000 personnel and is composed of 335,000 basically equipped regular infantry and an elite of 78,000  highly trained and properly equipped Special Forces. Regular infantry are armed with Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, heavy machine guns, grenades and machetes. The arsenal includes 1,000 tanks, 2.100 multiple rocket launcher, 1,850 APC/IFV, 3,750 artillery guns and 4,350 mortars.
Weaponry and vehicles are mostly locally produced versions of Soviet or Chinese designs. The arms manufacturing industry also exports its products abroad.

The Bruuman People's Air Force and Air Defense
The Air Force includes also the Air Defense personnel, 47,850 in total, and has 350 helicopters, 155 combat planes and more than 150 transport crafts, some new and many modernized. Anti-aircraft defenses consist of 4,800 anti-aircraft artillery guns, 1,750 MANPADS and 1,000 SAM.
The Navy, 26,806 people, is a brown water Navy and its fleet is mostly outdated, composed of 180 patrol boats and 115 torpedo boats integrated with 3 corvettes and 4 frigates. The submarine fleet is 30. Coastal defenses include both artillery guns and missile batteries, 12 utility vessels, 12 mine warfare vessels.

The Bruuman People's Navy
Red Jujus, 5,600, are an autonomous elite corp who serve as Papa Unclepear's personal militia and receive the best training and equipment available; they own their bases and arsenal. War Bokors, about 2,000, fill the roles of political commissars.

Military of Puerto Pollo

The Pollos Endemoniados Revolucionarios
The Pollos Endemoniados Revolucionarios are a light, mobile infantry force of 15,000 men (1.95 of the 800,000 population), which serves also as a police force. Since the end of the Civil War, Bruuma has supplied PER with light artillery, transport vehicles and patrol boats – plus a few heavier equipment pieces to defend key locations, but they still remain best suited for guerrilla.
