Let's suppose you want to say "That was a good apple". But, you don't know how to say it in past tense.

Here's how you do it:

In Past Tense, add e- as a prefix. If the word starts in e, add å instead. For example:

That was a good apple: Da eål en god epla

In Ryccian, there are 2 Present Tenses: the Immediate Tense(action being done at the moment) and the Normal Tense(action being done not necessarily at the moment, but it is done in the present). In Immediate Tense, add an ø- as a prefix. If the word starts with ø, add an u- instead. For example:

He eats: Hen ætepor
He is eating: Hen øætepor

In Future Tense, add i- as a prefix. If the word starts in i, add a- instead:

He will eat: Hen iætepor
