Drops

Simply put;
We are all just drops in the ocean.
Meandering about our fluid lives,
we sway left and right,
oblivious to the hundreds, thousands
millions, billions of
people;
Other people, the same as us,
following the same waves,
not plotting but
Following the course to
distant, wild shores.
Yet, some think that each drop
is unique,
that each drop
follows its own path,
plots its own course,
decides who it is and wants to be.
We are all but drops in the ocean;
all human, yet all unique in
our desires,
our paths,
our lives.
