CRS Statement on the Activation of Section 1(1) of the Security Powers Act

I don't think anyone wants to ignore the Bill of Rights. If a violation happens, we have a Court to handle that, and the affected party can and should raise the matter there. The only way to strengthen our judiciary is to actually use it when we feel it's needed.
