I don’t think there is much of a problem if a legislator application takes longer than usual to be fully processed, after all there can be particular circumstances that required taking a closer look at the applicant or coordinating between government institutions. What I do think can be an issue is when an application is not even recognised as received and under review, which can give the applicant the impression that they aren’t even being considered. That particular step is the one that should be taken care of as soon as possible.

Posts outside High Court venues should be taken as those of any other legislator.
