WAR IN PACIFICA! LIVANAN MILITARY PREPARE FOR EXERCISE

Izaakian President Blanc has declared a state of war against Nicolas and Great Britain yesterday after a month of a humanitarian crisis in Nicolas and Great Britain, resulting in mass genocide. The declaration went on despite an ongoing World Forum attempt to condemn and further restrict Nicolas and Great Britain capability to continue their vicious agenda. The declaration was met with condemnations from nations across Pacifica, and is further complicated due to the current visit of King Vimru of Sedunn in Nicolas and Great Britain. In retaliation, Sedunn restricts any visit toward USI nations and forbid Izakian crafts to enter Sedunn's airspace and territorial sea.

President Trenton passsed the General Order 3 last night after a three-hour cabinet meeting, requesting all Livanan armed forces branches to heighten their alert and conduct advanced exercising. A press briefing is held this morning in the Cabinet Office, wherein the Speaker of The Cabinet, Hon. Keira Venton stated that the President and the Prime Minister is in coordination to prepare Livana for the worst. "If the World Forum decides that military intervention is necessary to suppress the humanitarian crisis in Nicolas and Great Britain, Livana stands ready to heed the call," stated the Speaker.

WHAT IS GENERAL ORDER 3?
General Order 3 is an order demanding heightened military caution and increased deployment and exercise of all military personnel of Livana. The order was enacted last time, during the destructive years of the Great War by President Hunters, to prepare Livana if the nation is dragged into the war. Since then, a conscription program was enacted by President Tarsis Vitruvia, and was preserved by the new Confederacy Government since the passage of the Constitution of 1983. With the passage of this order, citizens may expect more military activities near military bases and ports, while the yearly conscription exercise will be improved with artillery and military vehicle training. This order, part of the greater 5 General Orders, is a privilege of the President and has been included in all Livanan constitutions since the formation of the republic in the 19th century.

PEOPLE'S VOICE: IT'S TIME FOR THE YOUNGSTER TO GET DISCIPLINED
A coincidence you may call, dear readers. But we interviewed an elderly civil war veteran right before General Order 3 was passed as a follow-up for our coverage on President Tarsis Vitruvia's legacy in contemporary Livana. Mr. Humphrey was an FF fighter, fighting side by side with President Vitruvia during his campaign on liberating Southern Liv from the Nationalist forces. Even though he now harbor different views of Tarsis, he still believes that the military is the best way for a man to be formed. "I might differ from the President's views. But he was a man of discipline and courage. I have never questioned his decision, and neither did others in the FF. He is the best kind of man you'll find." stated the Veteran in his retirement home in Arcana three days ago.

"I believe that it's time for our youngsters to get disciplined. University is all good and whatnot, but discipline must be forced. There's just no other way to attain this," continues the Veteran. He applauded the current conscription program, although he believes the time allocated for it is not enough. He elaborated that the military is a force for good, and any future Livanan leadership should have experience as a military man. This is actually evident; all Presidents since Vitruvia have served for at least 20 years. President Trenton himself was an Air Force Major until his debut in politics. The Veteran knows this, and with a firm belief stated "We are in capable hand for the moment."
