The New Dacians' most used language is Daco-Romanian. It is spoken almost everywhere in the nation, aswell as former colonies. Smaller dialects of Daco-Romanian are as follows:
- Aromanian, spoken in the province of Aromania. - Istro-Romanian, spoken in the province of Istria. - Megleno-Romanian, often considered a dialect of Aromanian, holds many communities within Hellenica and Aromania. - Dalmatian, spoken along the coast of the province of Illyria. This language is often considered the crossroad language between Daco-Romanian and Italian. The other main/minority languages are: - Greek, spoken in the province of Hellenica. This language takes up more than 20% of the population! - Turkish, spoken in a small number of rural areas across Carpathia (aka Rumelia) and Moesia. - Magyar, spoken in the northeast parts of Carpathia. - Ukrainian, often considered a Russian dialect. - Italian, spoken across the Adriatic coast. - German, as a result of feudal and medieval migrations by Saxons, became a sizeable minority in Transylvania and Pannonia. - Polish, which has very small communities around the country as a result of migration in both Great Wars.
A grand example of how you shouldn't roleplay
