The Distress Call
#18

The bridge crews were visibly annoyed by the discovery of Transunerian equipment, the former nation's pirate long having been thorns in the side for Farengeto's shipping.

The engineers were even less excited, realizing that these mines were the decades old primitive kind, lacking any modern sensors and being indiscriminate in what caused their detonation.

Unabke to identify the ship visually and all aircraft grounded by the now near-Hurricane strength winds, the Farengeto fleet repeatedly attempted to hail the ship and when no reply was given the Farengeto redirected the Eclipse to intercept at weapons ready and authorized to fire warning shots. The rest of the fleet continued to try and evade the storm, all 3 ships continuing to scan for mines.
