Corillia is the Sector Capital of the Corillian Sector. It is one of the first planets to be colonized in Alexandru II's continuation of the Stellar Ascension in 1363 PD. The goal was to make a new central hub for commerce in the northern part. This reason lead to Corillia being the fist planet with a Spire City.

History
Colonized in 1363 PD, the planet quickly became a central hub for commerce. For this reason, engineers received the mission to build a spire city on the planet. After two intense decades, Stoinia had built its first Spire City, Corillia Spire. This only boomed the economy of Corillia. As Stoinians expanded in colonies, so did Corillia's importance. However Corillia remained fiercely loyal to the crown.
 
During the Velutarian War, Corellia was spared an invasion, but had seen a battle known as the Defence of Corillia lead by High Admiral Hague, the Hero of the Line. This battle was one of the battle attributed as the turn in the tides of war.

Geography
Although 60% of land is covered in city structures, the planet still holds numerous biomes. From large mountain ranges to salty beaches. The oceans themselves haven't been mined out or tempered with. The planet's geological activities are also less active in the inhabited areas of the planet

Fauna and Flora
The remaining land is inhabited by numerous species. The most notable are the Corillian rhino, towering at 4 m in height, and the Corillian antelope. The Corillian Antelope became the symbol of the planet and noble house. A small mammalian at about 1,3 m in height, this animal is considered elegant and is one of the dew animals that aren't hunted on Corillia.
