Esteemed delegates, 

The State of Eggraria wishes to extend its well wishes to the remainder of the World Forum. We recognize the climate that we, as a global community, have found ourselves in, to be an incredibly precarious one. The world of international politics remains to be one fundamentally of anarchy. One nation cannot have power over another nation in its own right. This is the concept of national sovereignty; the idea that each nation may continue to exist as their own sovereign entity, rightfully free from the influence of another entity. Many express concerns over their national sovereignty, which we as a nation understand and find dear to our hearts. 

However, we must remember what this body is for. When matters of human rights are at stake, when people begin to die unjust deaths in unjust conflict, we must not stand by. It is appropriate that we are given a rare, limited, yet present force to be applied to member nations who utilize their national sovereignty to do unjustified actions. It is only fair and consistent for us as a body to hold other nations accountable for the pledge we made together, to support peace and justice for all. We are in support of this proposal as well as the given amendment, and urge other member nations to come to agree.

(OOC: I'm pretty sure most parliamentary procedure first has the proposal voted on followed by amendments in a situation like this. Pronoun's suggested procedure seems to tend to follow what I've personally experienced with scenarios like this, so I have no objections.)
