The diverging of Frost paratroopers allowed the coalition to encircle the communist offensive and neutralize it in a fierce and intense battle. Material losses for Bruumans were significative. The battle however gave Bruumans the time to reinforce a coastal corridor with the base and keep it open. Central front Bruumans broke the Erinoran lines with a combination of infantry and helicopter-born Special Forces. As the regular infantry assaulted the frontline, the elite troops were able to land behind it, disrupting the arrival of reinforcement and securing strategic objectives. Thus, Bruumans were able to advance until the outskirt of Ramica, where they stopped and started stabilizing their positions due to the threats posed by nearby coalition bases and entrenched troops in the city.   Central-southern front A combined Erinoran and Ryccian offensive repelled a Bruuman counteroffensive, based on mechanized infantry and rocket artillery. The superior firepower of coalition planes and tanks sent the communist routing back rear positions, allowing the coalition to recapture a swath of territory. Bruuman APCs destroyed during the retreat from the coalition assault   West - Southern coast Bruuma subjected the Ryccian landing to a massive artillery barrage, followed by assaults on infantry waves. For the first time in the war, the communists used chemical weapons, extensively using nerve gas against the Ryccian positions. Despite high human losses, the Bruuman in the end managed to annihilate the Ryccian force, whose few survivors fled by boats.
