Although the Marcavani Clans were pushed back, they hit back with full force and ravaged the Charian, Tozorian and Gagarin Sectors. Their pillaging campaigns proved a true menace for the civilians as countless properties were destroyed in the process. As the Marcavani ravaged through the Stoinian Star Kingdom the Stoinian Navy was just behind them. However, once the Marcavani had reached the Stoinian borders and left Stoinian controlled space which they quelled for 3 years. Traian went after them, punishing for their crimes. In the next two years Traian led the Crusade personally and claimed any system on his path for the Stoinian Star Kingdom. He was relentless against the Marcavani who started to pillage primitive worlds of resources. In this case the Stoinians had intervened to help the primitives and leave them be. The Stoinians however tried to expose themselves as little as possible to not intervene with the species evolution. Although many shouted for full annexations, Traian understood that they would become the very same thing the Marcavani had become. After two years of extensive campaigns Traian's forces had cornered Warlord Avarono in the Paragon system. Here the Warlord showed his most vicious side boarding as many ships as possible and execute any Stoinians. Warlord Avorono had made his way to Traian's bridge where Traian charged at him. This a duel started between the two. None intervened and all watched it on the bridge. Eventually Traian overcame Avorono severing one of his hands. Avorono surrendered and all the other Marcavani bowed to Traian. Traian however was in no mood for games and locked them up in zero g brigs in cuffs. All other ships were to do the same and if the Marcavani didn't comply they would be executed on the spot. Their women and children were left on a moon of what later would becoma the planet Paragon. Not before the males had built a giant statue of Traian to remember their place. Then the males living several months in zero g were forced to do harsh labour on the planet Paragon and build a giant column in Traian's name depicting the Crusade. Because of the higher gravity many Marcavani succumbed and those that remained were paraded in Stoinia and later executed. Their skulls are often found in the territories claimed by Traian. In just two years, Traian was able to expand the Star Kingdom's territory with a third a feat which granted him the nickname the Great. Traian had showed his military talents and held multiple parades and built triumph marches on all new Sector Capitals. He was also revered in music as he gained a march of his own which is a favourite amongst the populace: Traian's March.
