Mihai I was the tenth King of Stoinia and the eight Monarch of the Stoinian Star Kingdom. Unlike his mother he was politically active, especially during the Troubles. He also became the longest living and longest ruling Stoinian Monarch in history.

Early Life
Mihai grew up under the watchful care of his father Richard and his mother Queen-Mother Elena. He grew to be a passionate man, but far more impulsive than his mother. Eventually this impulsiveness would be calmed down during his time on Shikoku. He then opted to focus on a military career as much as being an heir to the Throne allowed it. Unfortunately his reign had come quicker than he expected as the Queen-Mother died of a virus on a rural colony.

Reign
Mihai was unlike his mother when it came to politics. He frequently meddled with politics as new parties began to preach colonial empowerment and some even wishing for a republic. In his early reign he responded in a more reactive manner, but this evolved in a more subtle manner over his reign. He reinstated the role of King in the political world often travelling to worlds to resolve problems in the younger sectors.
Aside from the many military traditions he was viewed as a wise leader embodying the Spirit of Stoinia and this gained him much respect.

The Troubles
In 1566 PD, the Harlan Riots took place on the mining colony of Fordite in the Arcadian Sector. However this sparked many other riots as people in the outer colonies felt ignored. King Mihai would come personally to resolve the issues of the rioters. Mihai was exposed to the many hardships the miners had and he worked as a mediator between the miners and the head of the mining companies. After a month of negotiating a solution was found which would be implemented and started to make new laws with the Chancellor. Before the bills could be voted on, many leaders of the riots were fired from their respective companies. To some miners the new status quo was nothing but a farce as some requirements weren't met. This left a scar on some rural worlds which would later become core regions for the Democratic Freedom Party.

Death
On his way from the Troubles region King Mihai suffered a stroke and would eventually die from it. His reign would be viewed as a glorious one by most, by others as a tyrant. Nonetheless the longest reign had certainly left a mark on Stoinia.
