Arcadia is the Sector Capital of the Arcadian Sector. It is renowned for its majestic swamp like ecosystems which host exotic wildlife and plantlife. Because of its trades and important location, Arcadia is a true example of what Stoinian planets can achieve.

History
Arcadia was colonised roughly 60 years after the Stellar Ascension and was intended to become an agricultural world. However when the colonists discovered a new edible fruit, the purpy fruit, the economy started booming and soon Arcadia came to prominence due to the hard work the Arcadians had achieved.
As the planet gained more and more wealth, other sectors began to expand as well and Arcadia became known as the Outer Beacon of the colonies as it served as a prime example for the colonies. Later becoming the capital of its sector. Because of this Arcadians see themselves as slightly better than more rural planets in other sectors and its culture has become more elegant like on Elysium. Although Arcadians might seem more arrogant at times, they still haven't forgotten their roots and mirror the philosophy of Stoinians in the capital.
Arcadia was largely spared during the Velutarian War, but in the final years of the war, a few days after the battle at the Line, the Velutarians had arrived at Arcadia. However due to MacArthur's and Cole's protocols the initial attack could be held off long enough for High Admiral Cole to arrive at the defence of Arcadia. Arcadia later served as an important hub for Cole's campaign in the western regions of the Star Kingdom.

Geography
Most of Arcadia's surface is covered in swamp like ecosystems, varying with fungi in some instances. However like Hyperion, its surface is rather flat and surprisingly doesn't hold spire cities for its population. However with Stoinians colonizing the planet several swamps have been drained and either transformed into cities or agricultural lands for exports. It is estimated that roughly 30 % of the planet now serves for agricultural purposes and 20 % is used for housing.

Fauna and Flora
Because of its rare ecosystems, Arcadia also holds unique wild and plantlife. In these large swamps the purpy fruits grow from palm like trees, but most of the swamps have been pacified and now serve as agricultural lands in an harmonious relation with nature.
Another rare ecosystem is the fungi swamp valley. These valley are filled with numerous fungi variants and are also home to Arcadia's famous fauna: the ivuit and the vastrux. The ivuits are elegant horse like creatures, towering at aroun 2.5 m, and are commonly associated with the local noble house. Ivuits have also been domesticated and are often used as ceremonial animals, but also used on agriculture in more rural areas of the planet. The vastrux is the apex predator of the planet and often plagues rural livestock. Vastrux are also commonly hunted for population controls and their unique meat.

Satellites
Arcadia has two smaller moons, but none of them have been colonized due to their low mineral values. Both of the satellites are tidally locked.
