Unkzier declared war on Besern without a casus belli on the 20th of December, 2021. Unkzier started its first advance onto Besernian territory on the 24th of December, 2021.

Klossner's heartbeat was rising by the minute as he tried to swiftly prepare his aerial forces in the now-busy Ostselvatia Naval Air Base. He had been informed by his superiors of a plan to mitigate an incoming hostile threat. It seems that the news had publicized a so-called 'secret' plan by Unkzier to advance a quarter of their army, roughly 500,000 men towards the city of Ostselvatia, which is not only impractical, it would be also impossible to hide under the radar and sonar functions of the Besernian Navy. He was ordered to assemble a flight of 5 attack/strike fighters to launch from Ostselvatia Naval Air Base to strike at the Unkzier troopships as part of a confidential internal plan to destroy the troopship formation, which are only equipped with infantry-level automatic weapons. His expression turned slightly confused as he was questioning whether if a flight of attack/strike fighters was enough to mitigate around less than 350 troopships, whether if this was on purpose to waste the ammunition of the Ostselvatia regional forces, or if even the defences on land and on sea were enough to end up wiping out the Unkzier troops, since the air defences may also need to refuel midway. He was assured that three submarines and 6 destroyers were going to support him where his flight missed and 3 companies of one battalion are to arrive from a bit further up the Feine, however he was also worried that if at least one troopship passed through everything, it would plunge the city of Ostselvatia into disaster immediately.

Nonetheless, Klossner decided to persist, combatting his thoughts. He had already assembled a crack team of 5 pilots who did well in the previous exercise, and more aerial aircraft will be deployed where necessary. Furthermore, the plan given was an initial plan, a plan not fixed in stone; and more equipment and vehicles will be deployed where necessary. Even his direct superior, vice-admiral Wotan Hahn told him that "it's alright, we don't want to drain our aerial resources early". A nation of 83 million habitants up against a nation of 20 million may seem like a joke when Besern had a non-conscripted 250,000~ in total manpower against a presumably-conscripted leviathan 2 million in total of the Unkzierian Armed Forces, however like others, he believed that less can be more. War is an art, after all, and art can be anything. Unkzier has no air support for a quarter of their troops on boats, but then what? Besern has 250,000~ in service, but then what?

"I beg you, please make it work in the name of the Besernian people", he swore as he faced the sun, as his flight left the naval air base. He was supposed to go form another flight to tackle the troopships incoming, but witnessing a fighter take-off is as majestic as watching a commercial airliner take off in an airport.

Denote the confidential plan is below. This is not final and more flights and ships may be called. The Obravia Command may also be called even if a hostile ship does not cross the mentioned line.
