Please be advised that you declared your candidacy 6 hours and 43 minutes after the end of the declarations period. Pursuant to Article 4, Section 1 of the Elections Act, which says that legislators may only declare their candidacy during the initial 4 days of an election, I cannot consider your candidacy for the ballot. If you believe this to be contrary to what the law says, please let me know with any accompanying arguments that I should consider or, if you so prefer, submit a review request to the High Court for their consideration.

This is a plot by the Torontonians to put fair Ottawa out of business. First you demolish the LeBreton flats, then you give our hockey team to Melnyk, then you sabotage our LRT, now this? It is outrageous. And I will not let it stand.
