PROCLAMATION OF RESULTS
JUNE 2022 CABINET ELECTION
WHEREAS a round of voting was held between the days of 07 June 2022 and 10 June 2022 to determine the candidates elected to the Cabinet, the result being as follows:
PRIME MINISTER- Jay Coop (72.73% in the first round) (Elected Prime Minister)
- Re-Open Nominations (27.27% in the first round)
MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS- HumanSanity (93.94% in the first round) (Elected Minister of Foreign Affairs)
- Re-Open Nominations (6.06% in the first round)
MINISTER OF CULTURE- rosaferri (71.88% in the first round) (Elected Minister of Culture)
- Murelia (28.13% in the first round)
- Re-Open Nominations (0.00% in the first round)
MINISTER OF ENGAGEMENT- Griffindor (84.85% in the first round) (Elected Minister of Engagement)
- The Lile Ulie Islands (9.09% in the first round)
- Re-Open Nominations (6.06% in the first round)
MINISTER OF MEDIA- Belschaft (54.84% in the first round) (Elected Minister of Media)
- Re-Open Nominations (25.81% in the first round)
- Jebediah (19.35% in the first round)
MINISTER OF DEFENCE- Pronoun (100.00% in the first round) (Elected Minister of Defence)
- Re-Open Nominations (0.00% in the first round)
CRAZIEST PERSON- Roavin (67.74% in the first round) (Elected Craziest Person)
- The Allied States of Bistritza (16.13% in the first round)
- im_a_waffle1 (3.23% in the first round)
- Comfed (0.00% in the first round)
- Re-Open Nominations (0.00% in the first round)
The vote cast by QuietDad for Minister of Media was removed from the tally on account of the fact that it had non-consecutive preferences for the same candidate. The votes cast by Belschaft and Eshialand were not considered on account of the fact that they were cast after the closure of the vote.
THEREFORE, I, Kris Kringle, Election Commissioner, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Elections Act, do hereby proclaim on this day, 10 June 2022, that:- The candidates signaled as such in the list above have obtained a majority of votes after all votes were been counted and preferences have been properly distributed, and consequently have been duly elected by the voters of the South Pacific to the offices detailed in the list above.
- The result of this election as proclaimed on this day shall be certified, absent any challenges that require further time to be resolved, on 17 June 2022.

THEREFORE, I, Kris Kringle, Election Commissioner, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Elections Act, do hereby certify on this day, 17 June 2022, that:- The candidates signaled as such in the list above have obtained a majority of votes after all votes have been counted and preferences have been properly distributed, and consequently have been duly elected by the voters of the South Pacific to the Cabinet to serve for a full regular term starting on this day, 17 June 2022.
