Thanks for the thought Uni, but I don't think I'm a great person to decipher the legalese of others. As such, I must respectfully decline my nomination.

Thanks for the nomination, it is good to see you have faith in me to run, but I think I will decline for this role. We currently have enough candidates to fill all positions, all of whom I am satisfied will do an excellent job and all seem to want the position. Legal stuff is probably not my super strong point anyway - I think the justice position would be better left to someone more capable than me and I believe we will get that.

I do encourage anybody who is interested in running to do so still. It is always better if the candidates don't run unopposed. Whatever happens, I think we will have a good group of justices after this election, which is really good to see.

Appreciate, but decline the nomination.

Appreciated Henn, but I must decline. I'm aiming for MoFA.

That doesn't mean you can't run, though; I myself am planning to run for that very same position. That way, if I lose the MoFA elections, I can still hold the High Court position. The more people we have running for this, the better. From my experience in Lazarus, I learned a very important lesson: If you don't have competition, a region will stagnate. You need competition so that voters can make the best choice from a pool of candidates, rather than have to deal with someone who won the elections unopposed, and so that government officials always have a motivation for doing the best job they can, or else they'll be sure to lose the elections next time.

Even so, the judicial system in TSP is very rarely used. The duties of MoFA are far more interesting. I for one, would like to quell the international communities concern that TSP is drawing closer to "defenderdom" and maybe put some of those Imperialist Conspiracies to rest, even if just for a little while.

I personally don't believe I could commit myself to the full duties of cabinet right now, which is why I favour the less intense involvement of the judicial system for this term.
