Tips on Cultural Development Coordination
#1

I recently had a conversation with Feirmont, and we discussed how projects in the Cultural Development Bureau can be vague or have unclear purposes. With that in mind, he came up with a great way of describing how our Cultural Development Bureau should work, and I would like to share it with you:

A. Trivia and Quizzes can have a goal of updating the quizzes that are already put up on Sporcle, and creating new ones based on the findings of the Historical Project; as well as helping to create quizzes for festivals.

B. Seasonal Festivals can have the goal of creating a bi-monthly festival; be it an actual holiday or a made-up one, and can work hand in hand with the rest of the MoRA projects for promotion and activities.

C. The Games [Development] Project can try to organise weekly games, such as Cards Against Humanity, Tiny Tanks, that kind of thing.

Also, the more I think about it; the more I realise the departments are working solo, when you would have maximum productivity and results if each project worked with other projects. If the Directors of each project stayed in communication with each other. For example:

"Hey Journal, Radio; Festival here! I'm working on an Easter festival; would you be able to promote it for me?"

"Games [Development] Project, Festival here! Could you get some games together, while Trivia creates a quiz for me?"

"And my Festival staff, we need to make a schedule and everyone needs to participate and keep the word spreading!"

Now, I do have some additions to that:
  1. Ideally, each team would also be involved in actually organizing their event, so Festival wouldn't just "outsource" its duties to other teams, but it can ask for some help, to make their event even better.
  2. From time to time there will be special teams created around specific events. From example, games themed after The Hunger Games and The Amazing Race are two things I've wanted to do for a while now, so I might call the Cultural Development teams to help me organise them. The same rules as above apply to such events.
Thanks, and we hope this helps!

More structure is always good.
