Resolution to Extend the GC
#21

Well it seems discussion has died down on most of these topics, no posts in any thread in the GC for nearly a day now. What are the next steps (seeing as we committed to extending this until the 10th)? I am guessing voting should be occurring now? Although I'm fairly sure most people have no idea what will be being voted on, if anything (I know I don't).

I think overall there has been a lot of interesting discussion, but not a lot of clear actions so far. Still time to change this.

I haven't discussed with Uni, but I think it would be appropriate for him to gather proposals with some force/agreement and put them up for a vote.

I agree...it was a good idea at the time to extend the GC for 10 days because the discussions were quite heated and strong but that has died down.

So is this "great council" going to come to an end or what? I thought we were going to start voting or is that not going to happen anymore? Whats going on i guess is my question.

I don't think we'll vote on anything at this point.

(At least, I'm not really excited to vote on any of the proposals.)

So is someone going to call an end, to what has turned out to be a pointless endeavor?

We don't really have procedures for Great Councils, so I have no idea.

I'll happily declare it's over.

I haven't read anything in here for about a week. Most of this should have been discussed in the Assembly. There's nothing "Great" about most of these proposals. No offense to the authors, but much of this is mundane and could have been taken care of via the regular channels.
