I accept the nomination with great pleasure.

Good luck to the other candidates.

Actually it strikes me that there are more applicants for the post than are in the SPSF itself - if only we could all agree to work together and adopt a common policy then we have the beginning of a sizable unit!

Thank you for the nominations, but I must decline at this time.

I will be enlisting in the SPSF and participating when I can.

Just a query, as there is a court case relating to this election, if a decision is not reached there prior to voting commencing, will the voting be delayed? That court decision may impact on who I am planning to vote for.

Hopefully not going to be an issue in any case, but just interested.

I sense a thread about that!

No, because of two reasons:

1. The Court currently has two members, since both Gustave and Llamas lost their citizenship, during a routine check. I talked with Chief Justice Farengeto, and he indicated that it wouldn't be appropriate to rule on a question when the Court is not in a position to take any potential appeals.

2. Unless determined otherwise, there can only be one Minister, and I have no legal reason to ignore years of precedent. The election would be conducted as usual.

I imagine we will be having another special election once the MoA one is over?

We will be having another special election (for two Justice positions) as soon as voting for MoA begins, I think.
