THE TIRADON CHRONICLE
Hello. This is the Tiradon Chronicle, bringing news to you from all over Pacifica. Two civilians have been arrested by police in the Narus region after Ikaranarean police relieved a shootout near a high-end diner. The Narussian police deem it "highly likely" that these individuals are connected to the group "ETR" and the train bombing yesterday. It is expected that before their trial they will be brought before the FIC for questioning. FIC Head Commissioner Xaro Trianmar states "The FIC will not rest until we have rooted out all dangerous groups, gangs and militias, including the newer ETR group." In Past, a sole individual has come forward to the AIAD for questioning at their recent investigation into the Insurgency. They warned the AIAD that "Bigger plans are to come" that could "Challenge the legitimacy of the new government even in the eyes of Ikaranara." This individual claims that they escaped from having to participate in the "heinous" acts of the Insurgency and have escaped to freedom once more to warn the populous. Investigation into this person is underway. Some Ikaranareans fear that the investigations of the AIAD and FIC point to a bigger conspiracy. One citizen we interviewed stated that "These events are too similar and close to be questioned. First, it's the FIC and AIAD that do investigations, then it's the PLA and Ikaranarean Armed Forces fighting a major threat." In the Indavral region, many fear that recent instability, especially to Past, are leading us to war. Here at the Tiradon Chronicle, we, maybe naively, hope that these events will only be a minor blemish in our two nations' great history.
