Three ideas which I brought up in the IRC chat:

1. So the first one would be about fascists working their way into the UCSR government and fraudulently winning the elections causing armed opposition and invasion from foreign countries.

2. The second one involves an island in the unnamed bay/gulf to the north of my nation. In the middle of the bay/gulf there's Providence island which is part of the UCSR. I'm thinking that due to it's strategic position in the bay/gulf, there could be some war over it.

3. So I'm considering making an RP. It would specifically be a nation based RP, but instead of being based around real life, it would be based on another planet (Let's call it Nirn for now). Nirn would have numerous races on it (For now I've only got humans, dwarves, and elves), who would be able to use magic and stuff. There would be one nation to each race (Except possibly in the case of one race being conquered and subjegated), as well as some mixed-race nations and a few city-states. A lot of the world would be defined by heavy racial tensions, specifically the elves believing they're better than everyone else (Especially the dwarves) and therefore attempting to subject most if not all other races. That's the basic synopsis of what I have at the moment.

Basically, you would choose a (I'm still trying to decide on whether it would be pre-defined borders of player pick&choose borders) nation, race, a bit of a background and history, language (You can make up your own, there won't be pre-defined languages, though the only real-world language you would be able to choose would be English.), leader, etc., and then get into the game. Though one thing to keep in mind is in the case of you creating something like a dwarf nation allied with an elf nation, the elf nation behind closed doors would probably be hating the dwarves because in the RP the elves would absolutely despise the dwarves because they're small and the elves are racist bastards.

I've done a dungeon of doom thing before, based on stripped down 2nd ed D&D and house rules. The players had never done any D&D before and it worked out quite well. No rolling at the players end, I do it here and narrate the results in story form. If needed (as was previously), I did away with even basic things like spell casting limits and compensated through the numbers and story with good success.

This is not a nation rp, but rather an individual character.
Does this sound like something anyone would be interested?

Also USR, I would play that first scenario for sure.

No rolling at the players end, I do it here and narrate the results in story form. If needed (as was previously), I did away with even basic things like spell casting limits and compensated through the numbers and story with good success.

I had actually thought of that and wanted to start one up. If this was started up I would be willing to be a GM if you wanted to play.

I too had considered doing a good old fashioned dungeon crawl, but was concerned about a lack of interest. I would be happy to play in your game Wetwork!
