Renewed discussion for an international highway system on the Western Continent |
Stephen Weissmüller, the former Secretary of Transportation under President Dmitri Buzinsky and Interim President Dominic Frost (April 2014–April 2015), had proposed for an international highway system along the Western Continent on 21 September, 2014. However, while several nations agreed to build an international highway system in September 2014, there was no discussion of actually building one. Here today, Qvait re-proposes the building of an international highway system and wishes to speak about the highway's routes and which cities, towns, and other populated areas those routes will cross. After the discussion is over, perhaps the South Pacific's great mapmakers of Brutland and Norden, Farengeto, and Sedunn, can cooperate and draw up a map of the highway system. As Madame Secretary of Transportation Julia Donovan of Kringalia had said in September 2014, "It will be of great benefit to the economies of all South Pacifican nations and will contribute to the improvement of communications between our governments and our citizens."
Before we begin, perhaps we would start on the materials needed, and the amount of costs. We need the specifications before we can even start discussing about the construction. Furthermore, we would need to decide the type of bridges we should create, and the megastructures we would like to create.
TIK would want to become a partner in the construction, and once we have the specifications, we would send workers to construct the highway.
