Could someone please elaborate on why he doesn't lead it anymore? It's presumably relevant to this campaign.

That thread from the NationStates forums should explain it.

I don't think I want us to be just another "chance". If you despise GCRs so much, this is obviously not the place for you.

Posts outside High Court venues should be taken as those of any other legislator.
I do not participate in the regional server, but I am happy to talk through instant messaging or on the forum.

Quite right Kris - GCRs in their present state are not friendly places for my vision of an effective GP military.
That does not mean that TSP should be denied the opportunity of choosing a candidate that is willing to challenge the existing order, and to buck the trend of bling compliance.

A) Being the clear favorite to being re-elected
B) Having someone from your staff being able to run and win against you.

Dependent on the nature of the challenge I would say the latter.
Although most tend to follow the course of popularity contests, elections should be about choosing the candidate most suited to carry out the appointed tasks.

If the unthinkable ever happened and I became MoA I would like to think that any consequent election would include members of my staff not as a damnation of my own leadership but rather as a result of them gaining the skills and aptitude to step up to the mark
