The Doge Superiore gives out a public speech to the citizens of Melfatt.

TODAY, the Comitato Sostitutivo has finally elected the new Doge Superiore, the ruling doge of Melfi, after 6 months of Doge Sabato Filleccio's, the former Doge Superiore, death. The Comitato Sostitutivo spent 3 months locked away in the living chambers beneath the Castello Mulino, the residence of the Doge Superiore, to unanimously decide which of the 9 remaining Doges, the Consiglio dei Comuni, were to be elected the Doge Superiore whilst the following 33 after that was administration and processing of the decision. The final results show that Doge Luca Federighi has been chosen to lead the Archipelagic Coalition of Melfi until the very moment he dies.

"You are vile." - Doge Superiore speaking to the Doge Cupido Rossi of Liniacum

In the Doge Superiore's recent visit to the city of Liniacum, the lone city of the Melacci Isle, sparked a violent dispute between Doge Cupido and Doge Luca. The Doge Superiore, Luca Federighi, had recently visited the Melvish City-State of Liniacum to discuss the scarily decreasing state of the quality of life for the citizens of the city, and how it was becoming more of a militarist state than city-state that was under the rule of the Consiglio dei Comuni and the Comitato Sostitutivo. During the long discussion, commonly referred to as the Conversazione Sgradevole, the Doge Superiore's interrogation soon turned into a sour argument between the two men that had to be stopped by the bystanding members of the Comitato Sostitutivo, something considered highly embarrassing by the Consiglio dei Comuni and the Comitato Sonstituvito.

Us, at the Melfi Messenger Printing Office, wish for the relations between Doge Cupido and Doge Luca to quickly heal before drastic measures are taken by Doge Cupido, such as leaving the Coalition and possibly declaring war.
