Think of a job/profession appropriate for the 1920's; Professor, Scientist, Journalist, Gangster, Flapper, Gravedigger, Private Detective, etc. Think of a physical description. Think of skills/abilities you'd like. Think of what equipment might be appropriate. Think of a background combining all that which makes sense.
