Ok, the following is an example empire that would cost 400 points using the following costs;

10 = Minor System - 1-2 inhabited worlds
25 = Major System - 3+ inhabited worlds
50 = Star Cluster - multiple inhabited systems in close proximity
50 = World Ship
100 = Wormhole

New suggestion; every week people are assigned 100 points for development, so empires grow over time, with allowances being made for extra points if you justify it in RP.

How about we just do away with the point system entirely?

While I do have the largest claim, I am an encroaching interstellar power so it natural that I should have only a few systems as a foothold in Ryccia's Galaxy like 1000 star systems with differing levels of inhospitability as opposed to my full 901,000 star systems.

The issue is that there is no consensus on exactly how this should be approached, in regards to tech-levels/size of empires/exact type of FT, etc.

I would suggest that we do two rps for this, one with smaller fledgling space nations that is more character driven and focused on survival in a new environment, and one that is nation driven with massive nations that is more about big guns and bad assery. That way people can do as they please.

I would suggest 10-20 systems with 60-100 planets for the itty bitty rp and 1'000'000 - 5'000'000 planets with 100'000 ish systems for the big one.
