Crisis nativism:
Crisis nativism is an ideology that argues that nativist policies must be implemented in times of economic crisis. There are two sub-sections: Liberal Crisis Nativism and Primary Crisis Nativism.
Liberal Crisis Nativism argues that nativist policies must be implemented for the citizens in economic areas only in times of crisis, such as employment and welfare, regardless of ethnic background. It is called soft crisis nativism by some, as any immigrant who gains citizenship is considered a citizen to Liberal Crisis Nativists.
Primary Crisis Nativism argues that nativist policies must be implemented in a more wider area, not only in enployment and welfare, but in shopping, property purchasing, stock market transactions, and even in waiting lines in any place, among other areas. It also emphasizes that citizens who were born in a country and/or got citizenship at birth must be considered first than citizens who were originally migrants as well. It is called tough crisis nativism by some, as immigrants, whether citizens or not, are all affected by crisis nativist policies. A more radical form of this ideology, Ethnic Primary Crisis Nativism, argues that citizens whose ethnic group is the majority must be considered first in crisis nativist policies. This is also often called Ethnic Crisis Nepotism.
