I am curious: What kind of advisors could the cabinet need in your opinion?

That's a great question, thank you!

There isn't one answer; it depends on the ministers we have and which skills and talents can be sensibly augmented by those advisors. For example, last term we had Sandaoguo as a senior advisor. As high-profile CRS member, and the CRS Intelligence Coordinator, he was able to help us with security issues; furthermore, his deep knowledge of Foreign Affairs was helpful when we were dealing with a variety of the situations that came up last term, and he provided valuable input when we were discussing the NPO issues, whether or not and how we recognize Lazarus, etc.; Similarly, Amerion was very valuable as somebody who has been around the block in NationStates several times (including, and in particular, Lazarus) and knows how to engage a crowd. Back in my first term as Prime Minister, I had appointed Tsunamy as advisor so that he, as an age-old South Pacifican, can sanity check what the very, very young Cabinet at the time was doing.

For this term, we're still discussing who we'll be appointing, but given the heavy emphasis on integration in all of our campaign platforms, it's reasonable to predict appointments that will help us with that aspect of our work, and in turn it's reasonable to predict that we won't be making security-related appointments given that Sandaoguo is now MoFA.

This has actually made me think of a second question:

Are there any concrete project you think should be prioritized?

Are there any unique challenges with this new cabinet?

Does the Cabinet have a public statement to make in regards to Justices Sandaoguo's resignation and the vacancy it now opens up on the Court?

Similarly, when can the region expect a nomination to be submitted to the Assembly?

I don't see any specific project having an inherently bigger or smaller priority than another one, though it's certainly the case that some of the community projects will depend on others and that will inform in which order they'll have to be worked on.

I don't think so. Most of us have done this before and we know what the job entails. All four ministers got elected on quite substantial campaign promises, so it will be challenging for us to meet all of them, though I wouldn't consider that necessarily unique.

Sandaoguo's resignation is quite a loss for the court, given his judicial acumen. His replacement will certainly have large shoes to fill.

Sandaoguo had announced his intent to resign during the campaign period, and so we begun discussing the nomination process even during the transition period and are working closely with Chief Justice Kringalia to find a suitable nomination with all due speed. We will have a further announcement on the nomination process in the coming days.

With the Ministries of Regional Affairs and Military Affairs having shown considerable progress since the term began, I am curious where Foreign Affairs is at the moment?

The Foreign Affairs ministry having a slightly slower start than the other two for benign reasons, but hasn't been idle. Part of it is simply the nature of the ministry. Expect the first MoFA update SOONTM!

The MoFA updating too much means our region is in the middle of a NSGP war.

Roavin, you know how I feel about your redefinition of 'soon' Tounge

Will your administration be working towards a white paper on our foreign policy and if so, is there a timeline for this goal?
