 What is going on friends over here in TSP! Lazarus is currently in a very exciting stage in our history, as we are trying to get a rebirth in activity and involvement in our government! We are trying to decide which ways we want our region to go, and in the midst of that, we are rapidly reforming Lazarus to better fit the modern landscape of NationStates!

 Right now, a massive debate is raging on both our forums and Discord, over which way we want our military to go. Lamb and Funkadelia are pushing for a radically independent Lazarene military that would accept both sides of the R/D spectrum, with no restrictions. This has caused massive debate, as some are pushing back to maintain our traditional defender status, and others such as me are trying to reach a middle ground in which we can allow controlled raiding. And, as this applies to TSP and other regions, we are trying to decide how this will affect treaties that we are a part of.

 We have also voted to merge the positions of Archbishop of the Interior and the Archbishop of Media (in the cabinet), together into one position. Our current Archbishop of the Interior is Lamb, who recently gained the spot, and is already working hard to fulfill his massive to-do list for the region at large.

 Other news:
- We are looking for new polls to get more people active on NS. If you have fun ideas, feel free to send them to me!
- Our Council has recently struck down a proposal to shorten debate times on elections
- We are also trying to more clearly define the separation of powers in our government

After our recent Prelate (Judge) predicament, two of our prelates stepped down from office. Trackeendy, one of the two, decided to leave Lazarus completely, and Omega plainly resigned. Almost immediately, two members of our community were nominated and confirmed as Prelates. Those two new members of our judicial system, Amerion and Adytus, will serve alongside The Church of Satan in the court. But, the Church of Satan is facing some heavy political fire from political opponents to step down as a Prelate. Also, though it isn't an election, our Convenor (Speaker of the House/leader of the legislative branch), has mentioned his nomination of Tom and I to be the Deputy Convenors of Lazarus.
